As a Barclays Senior Investigations Assistant Vice President (AVP), you will assist in the development of Physical Security and Investigations with the successful delivery of investigations casework.

You will support the development of the provision of investigatory services across the group.

What will you be doing?

• Keeping informed of and promotingknowledge of best practice in Investigations management, from both internal and external sources
• Supporting the team Senior Investigations Managers and Director in the effective management of both investigations casework and function strategy
• Directing and conducting complex and serious case investigations to a professional standard
• Ensuring all activities & duties in compliance with regulatory requirements, Barclays Enterprise Risk Management Framework and internal Barclays Policies and Standards
• Demonstrating commercial awareness during investigations to maximise recovery opportunities and make cost reductions where appropriate
• Contributing to and producing management information reports as required for feedback to the wider business and infrastructure
• Contributing to the ongoing Investigations Risk and Control assessment (RCA) process, conformance testing and investigations quality assurance programme
• Representing the team in meetings and attending when required relevant investigations oversight committees and forums

What we're looking for:

• Knowledge of investigative techniques and how to apply these
• Ability to engage, brief to and manage key stakeholders both internally and externally
• Proven analytical skills to include; report writing, evidence gathering, fact finding and data analysis with the ability to collate information and evidence
• Excellent presentation skills and have proven experience in giving evidence in criminal and/or civil, tribunal, or disciplinary proceedings

Skills that will help you in the role:

• Recognised network and/or computer investigation qualifications
• Demonstrate sound judgment and evidence based decision making abilities
• Possess good people management and influencing skills
