    Description

    3 month hybrid contract opportunity to join a distinguished company as a marketing and event specialist. This position would provide you with exposure to plan and executive a wide range of conference events ranging from large corporate trade shows to academic conferences. This person will hold the responsibility of managing the event budget.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist in coordinating personnel, commercial vendors, and contractors for the execution of special events and programs.
    • Manage all logistical aspects of special events, from planning to execution.
    • Support events throughout their lifecycle, ensuring timelines are met.
    • Coordinate and manage information booths at conferences and events.
    • Assist in creating necessary documentation for organizational participation in various conferences.
    • Provide support in developing event materials like programs, invitations, and briefing materials.
    • Develop strategic plans to promote events and target relevant audiences.
    • Coordinate logistical details such as venue selection, event registration, and audiovisual support.
    • Support lead management processes for events, including timely insertion of leads into the system.
    • Assist in administering sales enablement tools and materials.

    Qualifications:

    • 1-2 years of equivalent experience as an event manager/planner.
    • Familiarity with database work.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
    • Strong event planning skills.
    • Exceptional organization, note-taking, and follow-up abilities.
    • Ability to handle high-level engagements in a fast-paced environment.
