    Description

    General summary

    The General Manager directs and coordinates all activities to make the major division successful. This may include: leading operational excellence, generating sales, representing EnQuest at company functions, improving administrative processes and managing plant leaders.

    Primary functions & responsibilities

    · Reviews analyses of activities, costs, operations and forecast data to determine facility progress toward stated goals and objectives.

    · Coordinate with the sales team to best represent EnQuest.

    · Oversees key projects, processes / performances, data, and analysis.

    · Manages the manufacturing, materials, and service departments and reviews production and operating reports and resolve operational, manufacturing, and facility related issues to ensure minimum cost impacts and prevent operational delays to meet future growth.

    · Reviews operations and plans to meet requirements for sales planning and to ascertain manufacturing or outsourcing requirements to develop new markets.

    · Ensures increasing levels of customer and employee satisfaction while improving the efficiency of manpower, materials, and machines.

    · Manages policy deployment and accountability in the areas of manufacturing techniques, quality, cost reduction, complete and on-time delivery, safety, customer satisfaction, employee relations, visual controls, and shop performance measures.

    · Oversight of employee onboarding and dismissal.

    · Consistently researching and developing new methods or avenues for future growth.

    · Regular/daily interaction and relationship maintenance with customers and potential customers.

    · Oversight and cost control of all site related vendors.

    Qualifications

    · Degree in Business Management or MBA is preferred

    · Minimum 10 years' experience (leadership and prior sales experience)

    · Proficient in MS office

    · Possess superior organization and communication skills and strong leadership skills

    · Proactive, forward thinking nature

    · Extensive experience in multi-departmental management

    · Must be willing and able to train and mentor subordinates

    · Previous manufacturing or service business management within the oil & gas industry

    · Knowledge of frac equipment (manufacturing or repair) preferred

    · Knowledge of Gas Compression as well as service/field support is a plus.

    · Prior knowledge of distribution experience is a plus (managing MRO and Spare Inventory).

    • · Knowledge of structural and pipe vessel welding, fabrication, and testing is a plus.
