    Must Haves:

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • 1-2 Years of experience with benefits processes; leave of absences, revising/ drafting benefits profiles & benefits support
    • Experience with Department of Labor Laws & Regulations-ADA & FMLA regulations (must be hands on processing/ coordinating)
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office

    Plusses:

    • Bachelors degree in business, Human Resources, or similar
    • Experience with UKG/Kronos benefits software

    Roles & Responsibilities:

    • Coordinate benefits for employees and answer inquiries as needed.
    • Updating & Drafting employee benefit profiles within the internal database.
    • Preform administrative tasks to assist the Total Rewards team.
    • Process & assist with benefit escalations as needed.

    Day to Day:

    An employer in the San Antonio, TX area is seeking a Benefits Administration Assistant to support their Total Rewards Department. This role will assist the team on administrative tasks and drafting employee benefits profiles. They will also coordinate benefits for employees and answer inquiries as needed relating to medical plan procedures. The Benefits Administrator Assistant provides support for all benefit plans the employer administers which supports employee needs and assists with answering support questions about coverage and eligibility.
