    Seeking highly trained and skilled Cardiothoracic ICU Nurse

    Level One Trauma Facility located in Temple, Texas

    Full time- 36 hours/Week

    Unit Summary

    14-bed Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit (CTICU) provides care for adults with complex cardiac conditions, including multisystem organ failures.

    Our CTICU team manages advanced hemodynamics, telemetry, and device monitoring with multidisciplinary collaborative teams to provide high-acuity complex care to >4,000 critically ill adults annually.

    QUALIFICATIONS
    EDUCATION - Grad of an Accredited Program

    MAJOR - Nursing

    2 Years of ICU RN experience highly preferred with 1 Year of CTICU expereince Required.


    Experience:

    • Experience with Intra-Aortic Ballon pumps
    • Impella
    • Post op heart trained.
    • Dedicated to CTICU or CVICU not just a floater.
    • Involvement with unit council or other changes on unit
    • ECMO
    CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION - Registered Nurse (RN)

    Basic Life Support (BLS): BLS or BLS within 30 days of hire or transfer.
