Responsibilities:
Under the supervision by the pharmacist, assist in the practice of pharmacy, in accordance with state and federal regulations Maintain all assigned pharmacy workstations and tasks Review physician's orders and enter orders into the pharmacy's system Process and fill orders Bill and troubleshoot prescription insurance issues Clarify prescription orders with pharmacist and healthcare professionals as appropriate Help ensure a positive patient experience by answering patient questions and responding to patient requestsQualifications: Must be licensed and in good standing with the Louisiana Board of Pharmacy 2+ years of recent pharmacy experience Experience with PioneerRx, FrameworkLTC, or a similar system preferred Able to type >45 wpm Excellent attention to detail Willingness to be a team player and promote a positive team environment Understanding of workflow processes and have the ability to adapt accordingly to changes Flexible and proactive to meet varied patient needs Self-Motivated and able to work autonomously to ensure completion of tasksFull
