Manufacturing Engineer

We are searching for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer at our

Redmond, OR

facility.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
SennecaHoldings, located in Redmond Oregon, is a door manufacturing company lookingfor an experienced Manufacturing Engineer.

This position is responsible for,but not limited to, process research and development, product & processtesting, solid modeling, detail drawings, CNC programming, establishing andmaintaining processes and procedures, and machine repair and trouble shooting.

Thisperson will also be responsible for product release documentation including,but not limited to, detailed drawings, bill of materials, costing and procedurewriting.

The manufacturing engineer will also support and maintain processes,participate in continuous improvement activities and develop CAD drawings.
Critical thinking, problem solving skills and high mechanical aptitude are amust.

Dutiesof the Manufacturing Engineer include:
Identify and execute continuous improvement projects
Owns Item and BOM Creation and Maintenance
Manages the Configure Hold - Custom Order Item Process
CNC Programming and Trouble Shooting
Design and distribute shop floor Production Drawings
Develops and oversees Procedure Documentation and Control Plans
Oversees and supports exception reporting and shop floor reporting accuracy
Fulfills Customer Approval Drawing requests
Manages product costing requests
Supports the Customer Service and Manufacturing on Technical information

Required Qualifications:
Requirementsof the role
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with a minimum of 2-4 years of manufacturing or mechanical related work experience is required
Skilled in use of AutoCAD, AutoCAD Inventor, SolidWorks and common office software (Excel, Word, etc.)
CNC Programming experience and troubleshooting G&M code
Working knowledge of bill of material structure and costing
Basic understanding of ERP systems and general business terminology
Understanding in Lean Enterprise, 5S, PDCA, root cause analysis
Excellent problem-solving skills including root cause analysis
Good interpersonal skills, including ability to work in a self-directed environment, and strong communication skills (written and oral)
Good mechanical/technical skills
Machine/Equipment repair experience
Preventive Maintenance experience
