    Job Description Job Description What's the role?The Storage Facilities Specialist on our team maintains the administrative paperwork and grounds for our Secure Storage properties in Dane County


    This includes:
    Manage multiple storage facilities without being onsite at each one daily.
    Perform collections duties, overlocks and cut locks including auction procedures.
    Assist with auction processing.
    Facilitate and order vehicle rental including Penske truck rentals.
    Make customer calls regarding their account, collections and other items.
    Process customer payments.
    Conduct daily storage inspections; confirm inventory availability.
    Scan and maintain documentation.
    Create and keep current marketing log to track activity.
    Complete accounts receivable reporting.

    Provide ground maintenance activities such as parking lot maintenance, exterior building maintenance, snow removal, lawn mowing, trimming, fertilizing, aerating, landscaping, removing/spraying weeds, raking, and disposing of lawn refuse.

    Maintain streets and common areas of the facility.
    Communicate effectively and professionally with all residents and coworkers while working in a team environment.

    What experience and skills do I need to be successful?A diverse and well-rounded skill base in maintenance to fulfill multiple maintenance functions throughout the organization.

    Experience providing maintenance to rental or storage units or related properties highly desired.
    Developed communication and customer service skills for interacting with our customers and internal team.

    What's the schedule?This role's full-time schedule will be 40 hours a week that does include some Saturdays and can be flexible as long as hours support schedules for our storage properties.

    The role will also be part of the on call rotation for nights and weekends that typically rotates bi-weekly.
