    Job DescriptionCompany Overview

    Gemini is a full service tapas and wine bar that provides delicious and exciting fare inspired and
    informed by New American sensibilities. The service is attentive, friendly, and nuanced focused on
    a comfortable customer experience. The menu is guided by the seasons and filled with sustainably
    raised meats and produce from Colorado ranchers and farmers. The beverage program is
    thoughtfully curated and features natural wines and old world vines. Classic cocktails with a
    contemporary touch and selections from the local craft brewing community complete the offering.

    Job Summary:

    Pastry cooks will be responsible for their assigned station. This includes prepping for and working
    through service by preparing and cooking dessert items to specified standards and recipes. Pastry cooks are
    also responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment as well as a full breakdown of their assigned station.

    Responsibilities
    • Sets up and stocks food items and other necessary supplies
    • Prepares items via varied cooking methods to specified recipes and standards.
    • Maintain cleanliness and complies with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage and labeling.
    • Cleans and sanitizes cooking surfaces throughout the shift.
    • Performs inventory checks and communicates with Chefs about pars.
    • Helps to maintain an inclusive and positive work environment for all team members.
    Qualifications
    • Team player
    • Knife Skills
    • 1-2 years of experience preferred
    • The ability to work nights and weekends
    • The ability to work on your feet for long periods of time
    • Needs to need be able to lift 50lbs or more
