We are currently recruiting compassionate and caring CNAs. The CNA performs various personal care services as necessary to meet the clients' needs. The CNS is responsible for observing patients and reporting these observations while performing client care. The CNA will be assigned in a manner that promotes quality, continuity, and safety of a client's care.
Position Summary:
**THIS POSTING IS FOR NEWBERRY CANDIDATES**
The Certified Nursing Aide is responsible for providing routine daily nursing care to assigned clients to assure client safety and attain or maintain the highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being of each client in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards.
Education, Experience, Licensure/Certifications:
Must be a graduate of a South Carolina state-approved CNA program.
Must be currently registered/licensed in South Caroline. Must maintain an active license in good standing throughout employment.
Must have CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation. CPR certification must remain current during employment.
Essential Functions:
Must be able to lift, turn, move, position, and transport clients.
Must be able to assist clients with baths, showers, personal grooming, feeding, and toileting.
Must be able to accurately document and chart client care.
Must exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards clients.
Must demonstrate dependable, regular attendance.
Must be able to communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team.
Must be able to sit, stand, bend, lift, push, pull, stoop, walk, reach, and move intermittently during working hours.
Must be able to lift 35lbs floor to waist, lift 35lbs waist to shoulder, lift and carry 35lbs, and push/pull 35lbs.
