Job Description: This is a 12-month, part-time (50% effort) non-tenure track faculty position. The position requires effective teaching in areas of content expertise within a highly integrated and collaborative entry-level DPT program (hybrid and residential). The position also entails oversight of key co-curricular activities including supervision of the student-led, Arcadia Pro Bono Clinic. The faculty is committed to working in a collegial environment that values effective teaching, scholarship, and professional service.

Responsibilities:
Essential Functions:
● Effective oversight of the Arcadia Pro Bono Clinic which is predominantly operated by a student board and assisted by clinical mentors.
● Works closely with the Director of Experiential Learning to assist with student experiences in both Residential and Hybrid pathways.
● Works closely with Program Directors (Hybrid and Residential) to develop effective teaching encompassing three primary domains of cognitive, psychomotor, and affective skills.
● Course oversight in collaboration with others in an integrated, team-taught curriculum.
● Student advising
● Selected service roles within the department consistent with a part-time position.
Marginal Functions:
● Alumni activity engagement
● Represent the department to external bodies and the community
● Provide and attend continuing education
● Participate in experiential/pro bono learning experiences
Qualifications:
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
● Strong organizational skills
● Content and practice expertise in chosen area of physical therapy.
● Capable, effective teaching in areas of content expertise is expected and occurs within a highly integrated curriculum delivered both on site and in an online hybrid format.
● Previous experience within an academic physical therapy program preferred.
Minimum Qualifications:
● Clinical Doctorate (DPT)
● Experience teaching or mentoring students in academic or clinical settings
● Willingness to embrace new technologies consistent with hybrid education
● Clinical experience in area of content expertise
● Physical therapist licensed in PA or eligible for license in PA
