    School Psychologist - Accomack, VA
    ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist to join our team in Accomack, VA. As a School Psychologist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the academic, social, and emotional development of students within the school district.

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, academic, social, and emotional functioning.
    • Interpret assessment results and provide recommendations to educators, parents, and other stakeholders to support student success.
    • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other school staff to develop and implement interventions and accommodations for students with diverse needs.
    • Provide individual and group counseling to students to address social and emotional challenges.
    • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of appropriate goals and services for students with disabilities.
    • Consult with parents, teachers, and other professionals to address concerns and develop strategies to support students' academic and behavioral progress.
    • Stay up-to-date on best practices and research in the field of school psychology.

    Qualifications:

    • Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field.
    • Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist in the state of Virginia.
    • Experience working with children and adolescents in an educational setting preferred.
    • Strong assessment and intervention skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
