Key Responsibilities:
Medical Student Education Support (50%)
Process, prepare, coordinate and track all first- through fourth-year medical student registrations, rotations, teaching, and scheduling for Dermatology Department rotations.
Act as primary student liaison providing information such as orientation information, rotation schedules, class syllabus, and check-in/out of class materials.
Help to complete and update documents such as the MSCVL, medical student SmartSheets, syllabi, Oasis, and VSAS.
Implement and manage upcoming School of Medicine medical student updated curriculum.
Perform miscellaneous duties as needed to support the Medical Student Director
General Administrative Support (25%)
Supports Residency coordinator with administrative tasks (annual Residency recruitment process in organizing faculty interviews, as well as annual/monthly didactics schedules/Grand Rounds, room reservations, catering).
Supports Dermatology procurement needs.
Assists with other various electronic recordkeeping and data processes, updating spreadsheets, schedules and other projects as assigned.

A bachelor's degree in education, psychology, business, public administration, health care, educational technology, social science, liberal arts, communications, accounting, finance, library science, or a directly related field from an accredited institution.

1 year experience in a job position that interacted with undergraduate or graduate students

The University of Colorado | Anschutz Medical Campus is currently seeking applications for an Academic Services Entry Professional position.
This part time (.75 FTE) University Staff (non-classified) position will provide support for the faculty and education programs of the Department of Dermatology and oversee operational aspects of the medical student education program.
This position will perform general academic support duties including assisting DFA in the medical educational services for residents, student personnel administration including maintaining rotations, sending updates for schedules reception, managing student registration, scheduling rotations, and serving as the primary liaison for student communications.
The role involves handling evaluations, maintaining accurate record keeping, coordinating teaching sessions and supporting curriculum updates.The role is expected to serve as a key member of the program and plays a vital role in fostering a supportive learning environment for the medical students.
Furthermore, the position assists in various project management and processes related to the growth and development of the program.– this role is eligible for a hybrid schedule of 3 days per week on campus and as needed for in-person meetings.
