    Job Description:

    Supplemental Health Care is hiring Corrections LVNs for contract assignments at a partnering correctional facility in Amarillo, Texas.

    Qualifications:

    -Minimum 1 year of LVN experience

    -Previous nursing experience in a corrections setting is preferred

    -Active TX nursing license

    -American Heart Association BLS

    -Applicant must be able to pass a background check before starting work


    Correctional Nurse Contract Details:

    -$1,520 - $1,820 per week*

    -13-week contract contracts with block booking

    -AM and PM Shifts, 4 on 4 off rotation, Feb and March starts.

    -Various unit security levels available for travel Correctional Nurse contracts in Texas

    -LVNs have the option to stay where they are or move to a new location when extending their Correctional Nursing contract with SHC

    -Duties will include but are not limited to medication administration, immunizations, admissions, and emergency first aid

    -*Estimated weekly payment may include both taxable wages and tax-free reimbursements for meals, housing, and incidentals. Please speak with a recruiter for details.
