    Description

    Summary:

    • The Senior Citrix Engineer provides technical leadership in information technology across the infrastructure.
    • Participates in an advanced engineering and support role within Citrix technology.
    • Provides escalation support, coordinates implementation of solutions, and evaluates impact of changes.
    • Works with project teams to mitigate adverse impacts and coordinates testing.

    Senior Citrix Engineer

    Responsibilities:

    • Work with Application Business owners to utilize the Application Lifecycle Framework.
    • Collaborate with Anti-virus team for best practice exclusions.
    • Onboard new applications to the virtual desktop environment.
    • Act as Tier-3 escalation for Citrix support teams.
    • Coordinate with Network Engineering Team for Virtual Servers.
    • Implement new applications and patches.
    • Obtain new MSI applications for deployment.
    • Provide support for globally dispersed Citrix Farms.
    • Create and manage XenApp Worker Groups.
    • Maximize use of Citrix Policies and Group Policy Objects.
    • Develop and implement testing procedures.
    • Review technical designs for global implementations.

    Experience:

    • Ten or more years of progressive experience in IT roles.
    • Designing and building global Citrix environments.
    • Advanced knowledge in virtualization implementation.
    • Experience with multiple Active Directory Domains, XenApp, XenDesktop, PVS Farms, and Citrix Policies.
    • Migration of applications and platform upgrades.
