    As the premier provider of Space Domain Awareness (SDA) mission solutions for the United States Space Force, L3Harris is looking for a candidate to develop and maintain software for SDA radar systems.

    L3Harris is seeking professionals to work in a dynamic environment to solve challenging technical problems. This role supports the SDA, Space Command and Control (C2), and Missile Warning/Missile Defense (MW/MD) mission areas. Individuals will perform Upgraded Early Warning Radar (UEWR) system software development, design, implementation, test, and configuration management. The ideal candidate should have experience with the full software development lifecycle. The position is located in Colorado Springs, CO and requires a Secret Security Clearance.

    Essential Functions:
    Develop UEWR SW in accordance with SW coding standards and the Agile development process
    Current C++ programming language development experience
    SW Test Procedure development to unit test code
    Experience troubleshooting and debugging code to develop/implement solutions to fix problems
    Experience properly documenting software within the code and then in required software documentation/deliverables such as software version description documents (VDDs)
    Experience working in an Agile Development environment (Scrum teams)
    Understanding of Agile development methodology and how requirements are assigned to points and sprints and ability to accomplish work withing the allocated timeframe
    Work is FT in office (no remote or hybrid)
    Primary work location is New Allegiance but some work at Peterson SFB Bldg 2025 Classified System Integration Lab (CSIL) will be required
    Ability to work in a team environment to potentially include duties in other technical disciplines
    Thorough understanding of software engineering principles and industry best practices, including Agile development

    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field and 6 years of software experience.
    Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of degree, 10 years of software experience.
    At least 4 years of experience in software development in Agile development
    4-6years with the C++ programming languages
    Active Secret security clearance
    Experience inthe full software development lifecycle from requirements elicitation to deployment

    Preferred Additional Skills:
    Familiar with source code repositories such as GitLab, etc.
    Familiar with agile development and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, etc.

    In compliance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role in Colorado is $78,000 - $173,500.

    This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
