- Working toward attaining an Illinois Professional Engineer license
- Work on conventional, unique, and complex projects
- Involvement in sanitary sewer systems, water distribution, water & wastewater treatment plant design, and storm water management
- Collaborate with teams of varying sizes across multiple offices depending on the size and scope of the project
- Manage multiple assignments on a variety of projects
- Work in a fast-paced learning environment
- Take the initiative to interact with team members located in other CMT offices
- A bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering is required
- Previous engineering experience, or internship experience, is preferred
- Registered Engineer Intern that has passed the FE exam or is taking steps to become a certified Engineer Intern.
- Experience using drafting software, such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D or Revit is preferred
- Experience with other design and analysis software tools will be recognized in the evaluation process
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments on a variety of projects, work in an environment to learn quickly, take initiative, and interact with a variety of people.
- Valid driver's license
