Job summary
Provide routine care assist doctors and communicate instructions to residents regarding medication home-based care and preventative lifestyle changes Help implement and evaluate care plans for individual care of each resident Maintain appropriate nursing service objectives goals and standards of nursing practices Receive transcribe and implement physicians orders in a timely manner Report required condition changes events to appropriate parties Administer medications treatments as prescribed Monitor infection control compliance Investigate documents accidents incidents Record a residents medical history accurately Take record measurements of blood pressure temperature heart rate etc Observe residents under treatment to identify progress side-effects of medications etc Monitor residents condition including fluid intake and output compose residents charts Assist ailing residents in daily necessary activities such as eating bathing etc Administer injections prescribed medications enemas clean dress wounds assist with other basic medical care tasks Collect samples for lab testing as assigned Provide emotional psychological support when needed Communicate with residentss family or friends to provide advice comfort release instructions
