Overview

We are seeking a part-time Registered Nurse Educator to join our Corporate Education Float Team

• On Call/Casual Position

This role provides training and education to a variety of audiences, including but not limited to, employees, clients, family and the general public.

In addition, this position provides supervision and skills verification for the nursing staff.

Responsibilities/Job Description

• Presents informative and educational topics related to the health care industry in large and small group settings
• Demonstrates and teaches skills
• May provide supervisory activities for both licensed and unlicensed staff
• Participates in research and development of presentations reflective of regulatory compliance and standard process

Qualifications


Required:

• Current MN
  RN licensure with the MN Board of Nursing
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Provider from American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross; accepted certifications as follows -AHA: BLS for Healthcare Providers (CPR & AED) Program or BLS Provider - BLS Instructor

American Red Cross:
CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and/or Healthcare Providers, Life Guarding First Aid/CPR/AED

• Vocational/Technical Training or

Associate Degree:

RN

Preferred:

• 3-5 years relevant experience
• Completion of accredited nursing program, BSN
