    We are currently looking for an Inventory Planning and Replenishment Specialist to join our team at our Oswego, IL facility.

    The responsibilities for the Inventory Planning and Replenishment Specialist include both demand management and inventory planning of specific product lines. They will plan inventory, schedule orders to meet delivery expectations of forecasted and actual sales while minimizing inventory levels. The position will coordinate the shipment and coordination of customer orders with customer service. The planner will reflect demand changes in our planning systems to ensure high accuracy of forecast needs and ensure accuracy in inventory records, item usage history, and forecasting files.

    You will also be responsible to:

    • With guidance from the Director of Sales Operations, develop inventory management plans to support sales requirements.
    • Identify current and potential product shortages, develop, and execute recovery, advise interested parties of status and recovery plans.
    • Coordinate product movement between vendors and warehouse.
    • Serve as key contact for customer service inquiries.
    • Maintain and update master files [items, vendors, etc.] including new item setup.
    • Manage inventory accuracy.
    • Thoroughly review, familiarize, and understand existing BOM structure as well as the physical products.
    • Manage inventory levels to meet corporate goals.
    • Coordinate and manage cycle counts for all locations and distribution center, key participant in annual physical inventory.
    • Support inventory checks to validate inventory accuracy; investigate & reconcile discrepancies & negatives.
    • Analyze data and collaborate to determine and apply appropriate ordering, inventory, and replenishment policies.
    • Code and prepare proper paperwork for billing and authorization of invoices per defined processes.
    To qualify you must possess:
    • BA Degree or equivalent
    • 3-5 years professional experience in manufacturing planning, inventory control or materials planning role
    • Knowledge and experience with Sales & Operations Planning
    • Strong understanding of MRP and supply chain software
    • Advanced computer skills, Excel experience mandatory
    • Outstanding planning and organizational skills
