    Very popular restaurant group with a global following is seeking a Beverage Director who is committed to operational excellence to join their growing team. This role will be responsible for overseeing and elevating the entire beverage program for new and existing restaurant locations, with a focus on maximizing profitability, efficiency, and consistency. The ideal candidate has a knack for developing modern, creative operating procedures, with excellent training skills in order to work with staff at each location to implement a streamlined beverage program consistent with brand standards. Candidates should have general experience with wine & spirits, and multi-state/international compliance knowledge surrounding alcohol/serving laws. Any general mixology experience a plus, although beverage menu changes are minimal.

    Hybrid work schedule that is primarily Monday-Friday, with 1-2 days per week out the corporate office in northeast Los Angeles. Candidates must also be able to travel quarterly or semiannually to the out of state locations, and will support the opening process for planned new locations.     Beverage Director Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement a modern, creative, and inspired beverage program in line with the overall vision of the brand
    • Manage programming for both cocktail and non-alcoholic beverage offerings
    • Oversee existing training programs while making necessary improvements to streamline operations
    • Ensuring beverage program is implemented consistently across all restaurant locations
    • Support with preopening/opening process for planned new locations
    • Develops internal beverage marketing plans
    • Encourage and build mutual trust, respect and cooperation among team members
    • Manage and prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
    • Plan and coordinate the delivery of major events
    • Ongoing development and training of team members at each location to ensure growth, knowledge, and professionalism
    • Cost Management including margins and pricing
    • Develop programs/methods to increase efficiency of beverage operations
    • Resolving customer complaints and attending to all customer correspondence
    • Knowledge of Food & Beverage pairings
    • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards

    Candidate Qualifications:

    • Minimum 4-5 years of Beverage Management experience (Beverage Director, Bar Director, Food & Beverage Director, or comparable role) with a proven track record of leading a professional, efficient, high quality, service-oriented operation
    • Experience hiring and managing at least 2 direct reports on a beverage team
    • Experience managing beverage sales volume of $100MIL+
    • Experience operating in national and ideally international markets
    • Extensive knowledge of wine & spirits, including current alcohol trends
    • Strong business acumen
    • Excellent training and leadership skills with an eye for process improvement
    • Understanding of legal jurisdictions around beverage/alcohol laws in multi-state and international markets
    • Ability to work collaboratively with individuals across all levels of the organization
    • A sophisticated communicator with high standards of performance together with excellent communication, problem solving and listening skills
    • Passionate about the Hospitality Industry and Guest Relations
    • Ability to work effectively under time constraints and deadlines
    • Ability to create strong relationships with guests, members, and staff

    • Ability to travel out of state 2-4 times per year

    Compensation Package Includes:
