$18-19/hr
Shift:
1st shift 7am-3:30pm and 2nd shift is 5:30pm-2am
Description:
1.
Setting up and operating CNC machines:
This involves setting up the machine by inputting instructions, selecting tooling, and loading materials into the machine. The operator then monitors the machine's operation, adjusting the settings as needed to ensure the production of high-quality parts.2.
Conducting regular machine maintenance:
The operator is responsible for inspecting and maintaining the machine to ensure that it operates efficiently and accurately. This includes cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting the machine as needed.3.
Offset the tooling:
Some operators may be responsible for making minor offsets to machine tools to compensate for tool wear. This involves inputting instructions into the machine's computer system to control the machine's operation.4.
Inspecting finished parts:
The operator is responsible for in-process inspection of parts to ensure that they meet quality standards. This may involve using measuring tools such as Dial Gages, bore gages, micrometers, reef gages and calipers.5.
Troubleshooting machine problems:
The operator should be able to identify and troubleshoot machine problems, such as mechanical, electrical, or software-related issues. This may involve working with maintenance personnel to resolve issues.6.
Maintaining records:
The operator should keep accurate records of machine settings, materials used, parts produced, and in-process inspections to ensure that production runs are consistent and repeatable
7 Adhering to safety standards:
The operator should follow established safety procedures and protocols to prevent accidents and injuries. Includes wearing PPE such as gloves, safety glasses, and ear plugs.8.
Participate in 5S:
The operator must participate in 5S activities to ensure cleanliness and efficiency of the workstations
Qualification:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience in operating CNC machines.
Familiarity with various CNC interfaces, such as FANUC and SIEMENS.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and understand 2D representations of parts.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of safety procedures and protocols.
Drug test and background check required.
