    Description

    Detox and Residential Facility: A facility in Duncansville, PA, and surrounding Blair County areas offering detox services for adults battling addiction and co-occurring mental health struggles, along with personalized inpatient rehabilitation programs.

    Compensation: Hourly rate of $35-40/hour (excluding differentials)

    Work Schedule: Flexible schedule with potential weekend rotations

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Participate in morning meetings and treatment team sessions, then provide updates to the unit
    • Ensure prompt processing of client discharges to guarantee timely prescriptions and medications
    • Maintain and update bed-board accurately; liaise with admissions regarding essential details (e.g., unexpected discharges)
    • Contribute to chart monitoring, executing action plans as necessary
    • Monitor Medical Administration Records System for compliance and thoroughness
    • Support the Nurse Manager in managing client concerns, conducting interviews, and adhering to disciplinary protocols
    • Uphold infection control protocols and procedures
    • Aid in prior authorizations
    • Verify and sign off on lab work, as well as transcribe physician orders
    • Perform nursing assessments, develop treatment plans, administer medications, monitor vitals, apply detox protocols, and assist physicians when required
    • Additional duties as assigned

    Requirements:

    • Active RN license in Pennsylvania
    • Previous supervisory experience is a plus
