    Job Summary:

    Manages all facets of the factory inventory, operational data, and facility accounts payable system. Supervises Accounting and Inventory Control Coordinators' daily tasks.

    Essential Duties:

    • Provides leadership to the Accounting and Inventory Control Coordinators.
    • Trains, develops and reviews performance.
    • Tracks, compiles, and audits operationally related data including but not limited to inventory, production and labor utilization.
    • Ensures timely completion and distribution of the Daily Report.
    • Organizes and manages quarterly physical inventory counts.
    • Performs audits of production and conducts physical spot checks.
    • Gathers operational data including pallet, waste and regrind tickets.
    • Interfaces with largest customers and enters data into customer websites via their on-line portals/interface.
    • Manages the entry of daily production into SAGE, including adjustments.
    • Manages the reconciliation of shipping slips and supporting documentation.
    • Files daily production and shipping paperwork.
    • Gathers operational data including pallet, waste and regrind tickets.

    • Participates in plant Traceability Team.
    • Compiles weekly summary reports and reports to management.
    • Conducts month end reconciliations, entries, pricing and shrinkage.
    • Assists with compiling sample run information on a timely basis.
    • Creates and maintains an environment of continuous improvement.
    • Performs other duties as assigned by Plant Manager of VP of Managerial Accounting.

    Essential Job Requirements:

    • Bachelor Degree in Accounting or related discipline preferred or 5 years of accounting/inventory related work experience.
    • Cost accounting experience a plus.
    • Effective verbal, written, interpersonal and presentation skills required
    • 2 years of leadership experience preferred
    • High level of computer proficiency with Microsoft Suite required, including the ability to operate spreadsheets
    • Proven ability to work with a diverse work team and work effectively across functions
    • Prior experience with major quality audits and development of work practices that are BRC compliant preferred
    • Demonstrated abilities to multi-task and handle multiple priorities with a high level of accuracy.
    • Must be able to perform well under pressure
    • Must be a professional representative of the business.
    • Must be able to work in high dust and noise area and be able to tolerate high heat and humidity
    • Must be able to stand and walk in manufacturing environment and climb stairs occasionally
    • Regular and prompt attendance is necessary
