    JOB DESCRIPTION

    886 bed hospital. Level 1 trauma.

    This 28-bed unit specializes in the care of post-operative patients with gastrointestinal, genitourinary, and head and neck surgeries that includes patients with oncological diseases. Flexibility, a strong belief in teamwork, a positive attitude, and a willingness to care for a varied patient population in a changing environment a must

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Work Experience
    • Minimum of two years in specialty in similar size hospital
    • Experience with Epic Electronic Medical Record.
    License/Registration/Certification
    • New York active uncumbered state license or compact license (if applicable)
    • CPR (by the American Heart Association)
    • BLS, ACLS - American Heart Association
    Education and Training
    • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing or Employee Degree in Nursing. BSN preferred.
    Physical Requirements - Must be able to push, pull, bend, and ambulate without assistance.
