Description
We are a leading Tax Resolution company located in Irvine, CA seeking a Support Specialist to join our team and provide technical assistance and support to our internal users.
As a Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure and providing excellent customer service to our employees.
If it can go down or needs to be upgraded, we need someone who will be able to learn how to do it, or know how to do itResponsibilities:
Troubleshoot software and hardware issues reported by users
Handle any upgrades, system failures, etc.
Provide desktop support for Windows and Linux operating systems
Assist with the setup and configuration of new workstations
Respond to help desk tickets in a timely manner and resolve technical issues
Collaborate with team members to identify and implement solutions
Maintain accurate documentation of support activities and resolutions
Assist with the administration of Active Directory, including user account management
Support LAN connectivity and troubleshoot network-related issues
Requirements:
A proven problem-solver
Experience in software troubleshooting and technical support
Flexibility to be somewhat "on-call"
Familiarity with help desk software, such as Remedy or similar tools
Strong knowledge of operating systems, including Windows and Linux
Understanding of IT infrastructure components, such as servers, routers, and switches
Basic knowledge of LAN/WAN networks and protocols
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong customer service orientation and ability to communicate effectively with non-technical users
