- Analyze manufacturing processes in a machining setting by applying knowledge in product design, machining, CNC programming, related tooling, and materials.
- Develop manufacturing processes by studying product requirements; will research, design, modify
- Educate new CNC operators in the usage of CNC equipment on a regular basis.
- Advance manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout.
- Ensure product and process quality by devising testing methods, testing finished product and process capabilities, and establishing standards.
- Provide manufacturing decision‐making information; review production schedules, and estimate future requirements.
- Keep equipment functional by coordinating maintenance and repair services. Comply with manufacturer's work instructions and established procedures.
- Complete design and development projects by educating and leading technicians.
- Ensure a high level of internal and external customer service. Troubleshoot and address customer problems and complaints relating to quality.
- Develop, record, and maintain quality control standards and ongoing quality control objectives.
- Coordinate objectives with production procedures in collaboration with engineering to further product reliability and decrease costs.
- Outline, document and institute inspection criteria and procedures.
