Legal Billing Specialist
Chicago, IL | (Hybrid)
Tucker Ellis LLP is seeking an experienced Legal Billing Specialist to join our team in the Chicago office. This role will be responsible for handling both traditional billing and e-billing processes in a hybrid schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with client billing guidelines
- Manage e-billing submissions and troubleshoot any related issues
- Collaborate with attorneys and clients to address billing inquiries
- Assist in month-end and year-end billing processes
- Maintain billing records and ensure timely payments
Qualifications:
- Minimum of three years of experience in a legal billing position
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in legal billing software, preferably Aderant, and Microsoft Office Suite

Compensation Range: Compensation is based on experience and skill set, with an annual salary range of $65,000 – $85,000.
Physical Requirements : Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a computer
