    Hillel Torah North Suburban Day School, located in Skokie, Illinois, is seeking a dedicated science teacher to join our General Studies team for the school year.

    The middle school science teacher will teach engaging science classes to grades 5-8 in our newly renovated facility, equipped with a fully updated STEAM lab.

    Responsibilities include classroom instruction, fostering curiosity and exploration, and actively participating in the school's academic and extracurricular initiatives such as a student science fair and family STEAM night.


    The ideal candidate has a strong background in science education, is a warm and nurturing educator whose teaching is creative, progressive, student-centered, and academically engaging, and has experience teaching in middle school classrooms.


    Preferred Qualifications:


    • Bachelor's degree in Education or Science (or higher)
    • Experience teaching middle school students
    • Experience teaching science
