Job DescriptionLHH is searching for a Staff Accountant for a growing oil & gas services company in Houston, TX This company offers a flexible work schedule and outstanding benefits including 6% 401K match and flexible working schedule.

To qualify applicants should have a bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance plus one or more years in a recent accounting role.

Salary for the Staff Accountant ranges between $70K and $75K per year depending on experience.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assisting with month end close duties
• Heavy bank reconciliation for multiple accounts
• Preparing various journal entries
• Prepaid accruals
• Assisting with monthly and annual audits

Job Requirements:

• BBA Accounting or Finance
• One or more years in a recent accounting function
• Fundamental understanding of debits and credits
• Reconciliation experience of any kind
• Intermediate Excel

Pay Details: $70,000.00 to $75,000.00 per year
