- Clean building floors through sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming, and dusting furniture, walls, and equipment
- Prepare cleaning solutions by mixing water and detergents according to guidelines
- Move heavy items using hand trucks or manual lifting
- Ensure building security by locking doors and checking for potential hazards
- Remove snow using snowplows, blowers, shovels, or chemicals
- Drive vehicles for transportation and cleaning tasks
- Restore interiors damaged by fire, smoke, or water
- Operate specialized cleaning equipment like floor scrubbers and ice blasters
- Clean up spills and remove debris using appropriate tools
- Utilize industrial vacuum cleaners to remove dust from high places
- Be flexible to work different shifts with advance notice
- Work comfortably at heights and climb ladders multiple times per shift
- Operate scissor lifts and boom lifts as needed
- Preferred basic maintenance knowledge such as using diaphragm pumps and basic maintenance tools
- Preferably a high school diploma or GED
- 3 - 5 years of experience in industrial cleaning within manufacturing
- Able to obtain/maintain forklift, boom lift, and scissor lift certifications
- Read and interpret instructions and manuals
- Follow written and verbal instructions, as well as give direction to others
- Communicate effectively in written and verbal forms
- Basic math and measurement skills are required
- Identify and recommend solutions to problems
- Solve practical issues with limited supervision
- Effectively prioritize tasks and interpret instructions
- Retrieve information through floor support system
- Proficient in MS Office tools, manufacturing software, and email/internet usage
- Experience with SAP software is a bonus
- Various physical activities like climbing, kneeling, lifting, and more
- Ability to work in confined spaces and lift 20 – 50 pounds
- Use appropriate personal protective equipment based on environmental conditions
