Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The Department of Psychological Science at the University of North Carolina Charlotte invites applications for a part-time adjunct position, to begin August, 2024.
We are looking for individuals to teach undergraduate classes (any format in person, hybrid, or full only) with expertise or prior teaching in the following areas: learning & cognition, sociocultural, biological, or applied psychology (e.g., I/O).
Ideally, a successful candidate will be able to teach upper-level courses such as Cognitive Science/Human Cognitive Processes or Motivation or Personality and lower-level courses like Introduction to Brain, Behavior, & Mental Processes or Introduction to Social Psychology.
In addition, a candidate being able and willing to teach research methods courses will be desirable.

Minimum Experience / Education:
MA/MS or PhD in Psychology or related field; related teaching experience at the undergraduate level; excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills; ability to interact effectively with students of diverse backgrounds.
Preferred Education Skills and Experience:
Familiarity with undergraduate Psychology curriculum; familiarity with
online course technology and learning management systems (Canvas); NC resident or greater Charlotte metropolitan area.
