Neighborhood Pet Services Representative
The Lion's Den Doggy Daycare & The Lion's Mane Mobile Grooming
Vancouver, WA / Clark County Area
Part-Time | Hourly + Commission

The Lion's Den Doggy Daycare and The Lion's Mane Mobile Grooming are locally owned pet care businesses proudly serving Clark County and surrounding communities.
We specialize in:
Premium mobile dog grooming — professional grooming at the client's home for convenience and one-on-one care
Safe, structured, and engaging dog daycare services
We are growing and looking for a motivated, friendly, and professional Neighborhood Pet Services Representative to help introduce our services to local communities and book new clients directly.
What This Role Involves
This is a community outreach and booking position focused on:
Walking pre-selected residential neighborhoods
Introducing homeowners to our mobile grooming and daycare services
Educating pet owners on the convenience and benefits of at-home grooming
Booking first-time appointments directly into our scheduling system (iPad provided)
Representing our brand with professionalism and integrity
This is not high-pressure sales. We are building long-term relationships with local pet owners and prioritizing excellent customer experience.
Responsibilities
Canvass targeted neighborhoods in Clark County
Speak confidently and professionally with homeowners
Answer questions about our grooming and daycare services
Book qualified appointments on the spot
Track daily bookings and outreach activity
Maintain a positive and respectful brand presence
Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
Loves dogs and feels comfortable around them
Has strong communication skills
Is friendly, outgoing, and self-motivated
Is comfortable walking outdoors for several hours
Has customer service or sales experience (preferred but not required)
Takes pride in representing a local small business
Experience in the pet industry or grooming is a plus.
Compensation
Hourly pay at local minimum wage
$25 per completed first grooming appointment
On-target earnings: $25–$35+ per hour depending on performance
Part-time position (10–20 hours per week)
Afternoon and early evening shifts preferred
Commission is paid on completed and paid appointments.
