    • Employment Status: Full-Time
    • Compensation: $ per hour (salaried position)
    • Sign On Bonus Eligible
    • Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM. No nights, no weekends, no-on call

    Requirements: The Physician Extender NP PA must have and meet the following:

    • Minimum of 1 year in the last 2 years working as a Nurse Practitioner in the care of adult patients.
    • NP: Master's degree in nursing from an accredited program recognized by ACEN or CCNE.
    • NP: Certification by ANCC, AANP, or recognized national nursing certification organization.
    • PA: Bachelor's degree, graduate from an ARC-PA certified college or university.
    • Clinical competency as specified in credentialing instructions
    • Current, full, active, and unrestricted RN license
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) healthcare provider certification

    Job Summary:

    • Provide a full range of nurse practitioner services
    • Supervise and provide general screening, medical care, and examinations
    • Technically direct and teach other staff
    • Diagnose and treat patients with common acute conditions, chronic illnesses, or minor trauma
    • Promote preventive care and health maintenance
    • Communicate and collaborate with healthcare team
    • Ensure universal precautions are used in all patient encounters
    • Attend staff meetings for case discussion, continuing education, and continuous quality improvement
