    ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE CLERK

    Responsibilities:

    • Invoicing:
      • Generate and distribute accurate and timely invoices to clients based on provided documentation.
      • Verify invoice details to ensure accuracy and completeness.
    • Payment Processing:
      • Record and post payments received from clients using accounting software.
      • Reconcile payments with outstanding invoices and resolve discrepancies.
    • Collections Support:
      • Assist in monitoring and following up on overdue accounts.
      • Communicate with clients regarding outstanding balances and payment inquiries.
    • Record Keeping:
      • Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all accounts receivable transactions.
      • File and archive financial documents in accordance with company policies.
    • Data Entry:
      • Enter financial transactions into the accounting system with a high level of accuracy.
      • Update and maintain customer information in the database.
      • Reporting:
      • Assist in preparing regular reports on accounts receivable status and aging.
      • Provide relevant information to support decision-making processes.
    • Customer Service:
      • Respond to client inquiries and concerns related to billing and receivables.
      • Collaborate with the customer service team to address and resolve client issues.

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in accounting or finance is a plus.
    • Proven experience in a clerical or administrative role, preferably in accounts receivable.
    • Familiarity with basic accounting principles and practices.
    • Proficient in the use of accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

    Preferred Skills:

    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
    • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Basic understanding of financial regulations and compliance.
    • Comfortable with repetitive tasks and working with numerical data.
