    Construction Health and Safety Professionals | Boise, ID

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement safety programs
    • Issue and supervise hazardous work permits
    • Conduct Pre-Task Planning, including JSAs, Safety Plans of Action (SPAs), Crane Lift Plans, etc.
    • Perform site safety audits and inspections
    • Provide oversight for high-risk work, including hot work, elevated work, hazardous energy control/LOTO, line break, core drilling, trenching/excavation, confined space entry, and crane lifts
    • Mentor and coach contractor employees and managers in safe work practices.

    Experience and Qualifications:

    • 5 + years of ground up construction safety oversight required
    • Degree in safety related field preferred
    • STS-C, CHST and or CSP highly preferred
    • Minimum OSHA 30 Construction (within last 5 years) required
    • Diverse safety background overseeing multiple trades
    • Subcontractor management experience
    • Strong communication and organizational skills
    • Proficient Microsoft Office skills

    Physical requirements:

    • Ability to walk and stand up to 8+ hours per day often on rough terrain
    • Ability to stoop, kneel to perform inspections
    • Ability to climb ladders
    • Ability to lift up to 30lbs

    Travel requirements:

    • Reliable transportation
    • Must resided within a reasonable driving distance of Boise, ID

    Other Requirements:
