Job Overview

GaN is seeking an experienced Telemetry subject matter expert for an exciting large development project starting soon.

The SME will be a critical part of a multi-disciplined team that will design, build, integrate, test, verify, and validate a complex test system.

The project will include multiple long-range missile telemetry systems, large electro-mechanical systems, electro-optic equipment, software, models and simulations, instrumentation, and many types of electronics.

Responsibilities

Develop, integrate, and operate mulitple new telemetry systems
Work with software team to automate telemetry set-up, tracking, data collection, and data extraction
Working with team to decompose top level requirements into design-to requirements
Mentoring the next generation of engineers as GaN grows

Qualifications

Degree in engineering or related technical field.

Required Skills

Greater than five years hands-on experiece with missile ground telemetry set-up and operations
Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
Candidate must be personable and out-going
Demonstrated ability to maintain professional demeanor at all times
Dedicated to customer service, quality, and team building
Must be self-motivated, self-directed, and able to work independently
Ability to peform basic structural analysis

Additional Skillsets of Interest

Familiarity with Missile Flight Testing

Special Requirements

Must be a U.S. Citizen
Must possess Security Clearance specified below
