Meeting Street is currently looking for a School Social Worker for 8 hours per week.


Duties:

Identifies and assesses academic problems through analysis of factors impinging on student adjustment including factors in the home, school, and community.

Serves as a liaison between families and the school to positively promote the collaborative processes in educational planning for students.

Determines and implements appropriate therapeutic strategies to effect change in behavioral-social interactions of students and their families. Meeting Street believes the dignity of each person is paramount.

Licensed as a Social Worker by the Massachusetts Department of Health. Experience working with individuals with disabilities and their families. Minimum of three (3) years' experience in an education setting.
