    **Senior Payroll Specialist Role Overview**

    This position will be a key member of our team in the Branchburg Office, supporting our client's Construction and Building operations.

    We are seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in union payroll processing, with experience working with in-house systems and Sage 300 Software a plus.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Enter Union and Corporate employees into payroll software and E-Verify program
    • Enter and verify weekly payroll for Union and Corporate employees
    • Maintain all Union documentation, including agreements, rate and fringe increases, and remittance reports
    • Assist with setting up new unions, ensuring timely and accurate updates to labor rates and benefits
    • Process unemployment & disability claims
    • Complete employment verifications, child support, and garnishment requests
    • Track PTO for all companies
    • Prepare weekly Union Dues/Fringe Benefit payments and reports
    • Responsible for ACA monthly updates and annual reporting and compliance
    • Prepare and submit weekly and monthly certified payroll reports
    • Assist with implementation of new payroll system and mobile time application

    Requirements:

    • Experience with in-house Union payroll processing
    • Associate's Degree or PPD Certification as a minimum requirement
    • Experience in prevailing wage and certified payroll
    • Sage 300 Software knowledge a plus
