- Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+9 years' related work experience, Master+12 years' related work experience, 18 years' related work experience, etc.). If assigned to a developmental program, one (1) year of experience using a source code control system for a developmental program of similar scope and complexity is required.

- Experienced in creating Configuration Management Plans.

Boeing Intelligence & Analytics (BI&A) is seeking a Configurations Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities include being responsible for working in a dynamic team environment, working on state-of-the-art solutions to complex, timely, newsworthy operations.
The applicant must demonstrate the ability to solve complex problems using whatever tools and practices are best suited for the challenge presented.
The team will have group-oriented as well as more individual tasks. On a typical day, the selected candidates will be responsible for configuration management (CM) of developmental and operational systems.The candidate will work on developmental and operational teams to create and maintain configuration baselines (development, test, production, etc.) supporting developmental and operational systems.
They will use or recommends automated CM tools to implement CM policies and procedures and develop or modify CM plans, policies, and procedures tailored to the complexity and scope of the developmental or operational system.
In addition, the preferred candidate will implement CM discipline for the entire life cycle of systems from initial requirements/capabilities baselines to system end-of-life.
