    Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) Program Manager – Inclusive People Programs & Learning

    Position Purpose:
    Responsible for the management of processes connected to inclusive people programs in collaboration with the enterprise Talent Management team.

    Serving as the DEI Office's liaison to the enterprise Talent Management team, they will provide subject matter expertise on the integration of inclusive and equitable frameworks across Centene's talent management and development priorities.

    They will support the enterprise DEI learning and competency development framework and be responsible for providing thought leadership, direction, and hands-on support to business units across the organization aligned with the enterprise DEI and learning & development priorities.

    This role has no direct reports.
    Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

    Support the development, implementation and continuous assessment of the organization's short-term and long-term DEI learning infrastructure, including, but not limited to education related to equity, belonging, inclusion, inclusive leadership, human centered leadership, heritage celebrations, bias, intersectionality, allyship, gender identity, and sexual orientation.

    Serving as the DEI Office's liaison to the enterprise Talent Management team supporting the integration of inclusion, equity and representation frameworks within employee lifecycle systems and processes such as employee engagement, talent development and management.

    In partnership with the enterprise Talent Management team, managing the processes related to the external inclusive people development programs Centene engages with such as the Fellows Experience, McKinsey Connected Leaders Academy, Harvard Women in Leadership programs etc.

    Supporting the creation and management of DEI Office directed internal programs, such as the Black Leaders Network, Diverse Leaders Collaborative, etc.

    Under the strategic direction of the Manager, DEI, designing and delivering scalable DEI learning experiences using a variety of learning methods and technology including e-learning, microlearning, blended learning, instructor-led virtual learning, and instructor-led classroom learning.

    Developing and monitoring performance measures that determine engagement with quality and effectiveness of learning experiences, initiatives, and programming; consistent communication of those assessments including cost/benefit to DEI Office leadership.

    Designing and facilitating DEI topics leveraging small group conversations. Will be responsible for the continued development and management of Centene's Courageous Conversations library.

    Developing, curating, and maintaining DEI resources, learning tools and trainings, including leveraging, and adapting existing learning tools and resources to meet diverse learning needs.

    Providing consultation on and review through a lens of inclusion and equity of, learning and development needs and solutions.

    Education/Experience:
    Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business administration, business management, organizational development, organizational management, learning and development or related field.

    4+ years related experience, or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background; DEI experience strongly preferred; passionate about diversity, equity & inclusion (DEI) and health equity.

    Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills in writing, speaking and presenting information; experience drafting and delivering presentations to all levels of the organization and communications.

    Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence without positional authority; demonstrated ability to build strong relationships, influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization, across functions and across cultural dimensions.

    Exceptional project/program management skills and the ability to structure and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and drive to completion in a fast-paced environment; high attention to detail; strong analytical and data skills; ability to translate metrics, research, and trends into insights.

    High proficiency in MS Office programs, with an emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint, and ability to adapt to and learn new software programs/systems; ability to work both independently and as a strong, supportive team member.

    This is a remote position and can be located anywhere in the US.

    Pay Range:
    $67, $121,300.00 per year Centene offers a comprehensive benefits package including: competitive pay, health insurance, 401K and stock purchase plans, tuition reimbursement, paid time off plus holidays, and a flexible approach to work with remote, hybrid, field or office work schedules. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law. Total compensation may also include additional forms of incentives.
