    Description

    In light of our continuous expansion, we are currently seeking a Survey Technician to join our Mineola, LI office, contributing to projects across the metropolitan area.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Generating mapping using computer-aided design and drafting survey software
    • Creating topographic, boundary, utility, as-built, ROW, and ALTA mapping
    • Conducting survey calculations, data uploading, downloading, and processing in the field
    • Analyzing and plotting boundary maps and descriptions
    • Conducting record research for boundary and utility information
    • Collaborating with design teams to meet demanding project schedules

    Qualifications:

    • Preferably 3-5 years' experience as a Survey Office Technician
    • Associate degree or ability to obtain one
    • Proficiency in computer-aided design and drafting survey software such as ALTA/NSPS Land Title and AutoCAD Civil 3D
    • Experience in survey computations for land and construction surveys, proficient in Trimble, Carlson Field to Finish
    • Experience with surveying and mapping for municipal, residential, and commercial projects, including topographic, boundary, utility, as-built, ROW, and ALTA, as well as understanding boundary deeds, maps, and easements
    • Ability to interpret civil, architectural, and structural drawings
    • Strong communication skills

    We offer a competitive salary commensurate with experience, a comprehensive benefits package, and a positive work environment.

    Compensation: Minimum: $65,000 - Maximum: $79,000
