Essential Functions
Assisting surgeons as needed by retrieving needed surgical instruments and equipment from surgical supply.
Cleaning operating rooms between surgical cases and making sure rooms are ready for the next case.
Positioning patients for surgery and performing aseptic prep of surgery site; and maintaining cleanliness and sterility of operating rooms.
Decontamination and sterilization of instrumentation using an autoclave and a vaporized hydrogen peroxide sterilizer.
Maintenance of surgical packs and instruments.

requires a high school diploma plus 1 year of experience in surgical technology, veterinary technology, or related field.

$31,200 – $43,500
Level II:
requires a high school diploma or equivalent plus 2 years of experience in surgical services practices
