    *Nicolet Care Associates is actively seeking Business Support Specialists for our client in Toledo, Ohio**Position Title: *Childcare Resource & Referral Business Support Specialist

    *Department:

    *Location:
    • Toledo, Ohio
    *Pay rate*: $19/hr.

    *Position Overview:
    Responsible for providing business support to childcare providers, provision of technical assistance, information, and support for childcare providers.

    • Provide Technical Assistance (TA) to providers with maintenance of their automations, fiscal spreadsheets of assigned project programs.
    • Create Business plans to improve childcare programs sustainability and profitability.
    • Analyze provider business data to identify trends, gaps, areas of improvement.
    • Familiarization with all aspects of Childcare Business Supports, including Sub Pool, Business Success
    • Assist in the delivery of all business support, Shared Services and related development activities.
    • Lead Business Success Trainings in person and online
    • Attend and participate in all Agency, department, supervisor, community, provider meetings as assigned.
    • Assist in department activities as requested.
    • Travel as necessary, and as required.
    • Attend professional development opportunities as requested and/or needed.
    • Provide training as assigned.
    • Maintain acceptable appearance and conduct standards according to the company's dress code.
    • Must be able to lift 30 lbs.
    • Other duties as assigned by supervisor or Director.
    *Qualifications:


    • Bachelor's degree in early childhood education/child development or related field, and experience preferred.
    • Excellent communication skills, presentation and interaction skills required.
    • Must demonstrate ability to provide training that meets Ohio Department of Job and Family Services requirements.
    • Must understand childcare and ability to work with adults, manage time, work independently and travel throughout the service area.
    Physical Requirements

    • Candidate must be able to lift up to 30 pounds.
    • Movement within office environment including up and down three flights of stairs.
    • Ability to write by hand and use keyboard to perform general office functions.
    • Ability to communicate by speech and hearing continuously.
    • Ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time.
    • Ability to walk, run, move, squat, stoop, bend, twist, turn, push, pull and reach in interactions with children.
    • Visual acuity (close, distant, peripheral vision and the ability to adjust focus and view accurate color perception) needed for detail work, computer use, reading and to potentially supervise children in a variety of activities.
