Fischer Land Surveying & Engineering of Langdon, ND is looking for a motivated self-starter who is looking to join our team with the possibility of advancement within our company. We primarily serve NE ND and NW MN but have also done work across the state of ND. We have continued to grow our client base and projects over the past 28 years, striving to provide the most accurate and quality services for our clients. We are a small company where every employee plays an important role. This position will work in both public and private sectors providing topographic, boundary/cadastral, construction, ALTA, As-built, land development, easement, residential, farmstead, lake lots and commercial surveying. We also design open channel drains and have helped create 30 assessment drains in northeastern ND. LSIT will work under the direct supervision of a Licensed Surveyor. In addition, we do other engineering projects such as site design and layout for convenience stores, agricultural facilities and commercial buildings.
The advantage of working for a small firm is you get to take a project from conception to construction. Overnight travel is extremely rare, which makes this desirable for any individual with a family or for individuals who are tired of excessive overnight travel. This position is an excellent opportunity that may lead to a more prominent role as a Survey Party Chief which would include becoming responsible for bidding projects, overseeing, scheduling and managing the daily operations of multiple survey crews.
Employer has discretion to make this a salaried position or full-time hourly M-F with some possible overtime. Wage depending on experience. $70,000 - $85,000 per year
