    Sales Manager Responsibilities

    The Sales Manager plays a crucial role in leading sales teams to achieve their targets. Key responsibilities include:

    • Capacity Planning and Management: Maintaining optimal Design Specialist availability, ensuring a balanced workflow between Marketing's appointment generation efforts and the sales team's capacity.
    • Appointment Assignment: Effective calendar management and appointment assignment based on recent Design Specialist success, with daily assignments completed by 8:00 am.
    • Running Effective Meetings: Regularly scheduled sales meetings at least weekly, focusing on motivation, performance recognition, and skill enhancement.
    • Effective Remedial Training: Data-driven training plans tailored to individual needs, promoting growth and improvement in areas like sales growth, close rate, and financed project rate.
    • Ride Alongs: Coaching through hands-on experience, traveling with Design Specialists to identify areas for improvement and provide support.
    • Team Motivation: Developing strategies for sales team engagement and motivation, addressing fluctuations in appointments and capacity.
    • Performance Management - Goal Setting, Coaching and Reviews: Helping sales reps identify development needs, set goals, and take decisive action to address performance issues.
    • Recruiting, Interviewing and Hiring: Proactive recruitment of top talent, leveraging multiple avenues to find candidates who match the profile of a successful retail design specialist.
    • On-boarding - Skill Building and Training: Implementing an effective assimilation and on-boarding program to minimize time-to-performance.
    • Post Appointment NPS Activities: Fostering a culture of exceptional homeowner experiences, driving repeat business, and creating brand advocates.
