Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive inspections of guest rooms, suites, and public spaces to verify cleanliness, safety, and overall presentation
• Identify and document any maintenance issues or deficiencies, communicating them promptly to relevant departments for resolution
• Ensure all cleaning protocols are followed according to hotel standards and safety guidelines
• Monitor the proper use of cleaning supplies and equipment, including floor care tools and industrial cleaning products
• Provide feedback and coaching to housekeeping staff to improve service quality and efficiency
• Maintain detailed inspection reports and logs for accountability and continuous improvement
• Support training initiatives by sharing best practices in janitorial, custodial, and hospitality cleaning procedures

Skills

• Proven experience in hotel housekeeping, custodial work, or janitorial services with a focus on quality control
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care, and industrial cleaning equipment
• Excellent attention to detail with an eye for spotting cleanliness issues or safety hazards
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and report findings clearly
• Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards
• Familiarity with hospitality industry standards and guest service expectations
• Leadership skills related to housekeeping management or supervisory roles are a plus
