    Department: Food and Beverage

    Job Title: Busser

    Reports To: Restaurant Manager

    Position Purpose: Responsible for assisting the servers and cleanliness of the restaurant.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    1. Serves water and bread as guests are seated.
    2. Assists servers with tasks such as carrying food trays to tables.
    3. Removes soiled dishes from table and brings them to the dish washing area.
    4. Changes table linen when soiled.
    5. Set tables with silverware, china, glassware, etc.
    6. Cleans dining room area.
    7. Stocks server's station with supplies.
    8. Collects trash from dining room, grill and other specified places after each serving period.
    9. Dusts chairs before and after meals
    10. Keep ice bins and buckets filled.
    11. Advise supervisor of any complaints as soon as they occur.
    12. Displays a friendly, helpful and positive attitude.
    13. Responsible for all assigned side work and cleaning duties throughout the shift, as well as after the shift.
    14. Maintains complete knowledge of the food and beverage products and stays up to date with any changes.
    15. Maintains a professional appearance. Uniform must be clean and pressed for every shift.
    16. Knows all table numbers.
    17. Attends all pre-shift and scheduled staff meetings.
    18. Performs any and all other duties as assigned by supervisor.

    Education and Work Experience Qualifications

    Prior food service experience in catering, hotel, or club is required.

    Must be able to work a flexible schedule with weekends, evenings and holidays.
