    The office and facilities manager will oversee all building and grounds maintenance for our company. They will be responsible for ensuring the facilities are safe, up to code, and fully operational. The office and facilities manager will also be responsible for managing contractors, training new employees, and working with third-party vendors.

    Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing contracts and providers for services including security, parking, janitorial and catering
  • Supervising janitorial and other facilities staff and contractors
  • Ensuring the basic facilities, such as water, electricity, heating, garbage, hazard waste, sewer, sprinkler system, etc, are well maintained
  • Ensure all workspaces are operational and schedule appropriate vendors for repairs, upgrades, and preventative maintenance of the buildings
  • Allocating and managing space between buildings and work places
  • Supervising office relocations and setup
  • Ensuring that facilities meet government regulations and environmental, health and security standards
  • Work alongside property management with structural repairs and annual maintenance of the buildings
  • Work closely and attend monthly meetings with the airport, convey updates to staff, implement changes
  • Managing security; including access controls and site safety
  • Oversee basic safety protocols, CPR and First aid training, Fire/sprinkler system (including fire extinguishers,) security, hazard waste storage and removal (at the direction of EHS)
  • Directing calls and emails from customers and vendors and directing them to relevant staff
  • Create and maintain office and facilities supplies budget
  • Monitoring and ordering office, janitorial, kitchen and other facility supplies as needed
  • Support all staff with office needs
  • Conduct safety tour for all new hires in coordination with EHS
  • Managing and ordering weekly lunches, snacks and beverages
  • Manage front end reception area, greeting visitors and employees and providing support for questions
  • Manage and coordinate all visitors and meetings located in company facilities, at the corporate offices and satellite offices
  • Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Extreme confidentiality and professionalism
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Adaptable and resourceful in a dynamic environment
  • Demonstrate ability to multi-task
  • Incredibly detail-oriented with strong problem solving skills
  • Self-starter: can take even the smallest project and run with it to a successful completion
  • Ability to stay on top of new tools and technologies with an interest and passion to constantly learn
  • Start-up background or experience working in a hyper-growth environment
  • International work experience is a plus
  • Ability to be onsite 4 days a week (Fridays remote)
  • Full Time Position

    Pay Range: $75,000 - $85,000
