- Provides maintenance, safety testing, repairs, installation, and service for a wide range of medical equipment.
- Performs planned and emergency services on diagnostic and therapeutic medical devices.
- Works on specialized equipment such as anesthesia machines, sterilizers, ventilators, ultrasound, and more as assigned.
- Demonstrates and incorporates the mission, vision, and values of Trinity Health into daily practices.
- Performs maintenance procedures on various clinical equipment following industry guidelines.
- Diagnoses and troubleshoots equipment issues using technical knowledge.
- Communicates effectively with clinical staff to minimize disruptions during service procedures.
- Ensures compliance with regulations and standards related to clinical equipment service and repair.
- Provides training to staff on equipment operations and safety.
- Maintains accuracy in documentation of maintenance activities.
- Promotes teamwork and contributes to continuous process improvement.
- Coordinates with vendors and hospital personnel for positive outcomes.
- Stays updated on industry standards and regulations.
- Associate's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in maintaining medical devices and equipment.
- Specialized training in specific equipment areas.
- Proficiency in specialty area and basic medical knowledge required.
- Ability to maintain a safe work environment and adapt to changing priorities.
